Wolder Mismart Smile, Analysis

Recently I brought the information of the new phones in Wolder. Today we present one of them, the model analysis mismart Smile, 4 inches in size and a very attractive price.

We are facing a terminal of range low-medium to a very attractive price that behaves quite well in performance tests. In addition the terminal comes with a very sympathetic case series. If you are interested in knowing all about this terminal, keep reading.

Wolder mismart Smile:), finished physicist

With the Wolder mismart Smile is a relatively small terminal, 4 inches, with an interesting physical finish. On the front we have a transparent coating that gives it a very elegant look. The rest of the terminal is clearly of shiny plastic, and does not try to hide it.

On the upper front we have the speaker, front-facing camera and proximity sensor. Below is the screen, a 4-inch IPS panel. And below the buttons physicists, incomprehensible at this point terminals continue appearing Jelly Bean with physical buttons (I think influence of Samsung,).

On the right side we find the power button and the left volume. There is not much innovation and probably it is not to the liking of left-handers. But we can not criticize this decision, to which we are accustomed. At the top is the headphone jack and microUSB for charging the phone and connect it to the PC.

On the back we have the shiny plastic back cover. In it we can see the camera, with flash, the logo of the terminal and at the bottom the speakers, in an arrangement flower that gives enough grace.

It comes with the terminal a plastic sleeve with a lid which imitates leather. Adapts perfectly to the terminal, in fact is expressly designed for this model. However to close the lid, I find some difficulty. Since then I prefer the official Samsung for this type of accessories covers.

In general the mobile moves quite fluid. Both when we move through the system as when we are applications that tend to go heavy when the terminal is slow (for example and although it may not seem it, Google Play brother-in-law are updating an application) are pretty good. We have tested a game, for example Dead Trigger 2 and moving fluid.

The terminal comprises 2.5 GB of memory available to the user which are split into two partitions. The phone has 1.27 GB free and the internal SD of 1.17 GB. This is really a little cumbersome because some applications by default must be installed on the phone and you can run out of space by this division as usual in this range of terminals. Apart, of course, can be expanded with a microSD.

The problem of this terminal is often RAM memory. Some games and applications require more memory to perform and we’ve seen this for example to try to run the benchmark of Epic Citatel. 512 MB of RAM are scarce, at least until you Android 4.4, which is not confirmed for this terminal (BTW nowhere seems to be the possibility to find a update OTA).

In general are facing a terminal that it won’t go bad for a light use: e-mail, instant messaging, surfing the Internet, simple games. The performance of the hardware will be sufficient. Another issue is more advanced games or applications. Here surely time limit for RAM and because the screen is rather small for what we are used in most leading terminals.

The camera don’t expect no wonder. We have a simple camera, that it cannot require great performance if conditions are not optimal. In fact it has autofocus, with this I say everything. If you’re looking for a terminal that also makes camera, on the other hand almost rather throw.

Battery is low, that jumps to the eye in its 1500 mAh. But I can confirm that in everyday use it is quite short. The good news is that the screen, being smaller, consume less, but in the end the relationship screen size / size battery continues winning battery: bigger terminal, better.

Wolder mismart Smile:), software

Wolder terminal comes with Android 4.2.2 series. Although it is quite present, as we miss to at least bring Android 4.3 when Google recently submitted Android 4.4. The problem that I see in the terminal is that does not have a module updates OTA, and for the little memory that has this terminal Android 4.4 update is almost obligatory.

Apart from this, the terminal comes with little software installed by the manufacturer. Curious about the application of the AEMET for the time, and some things Wolder, but little. Normally these applications in this type of terminal you can uninstall without problems, but not so on this occasion. They come installed as system applications and the only thing you can do is to disable them.

In general we have a medium-low range with a software according to the times, none of Gingerbread as they still offer some cutting-edge brands. Wolder has confirmed to us that they are working to bring Kit Kat next year to this terminal, but OTA is complicated for users.

In favour

  • Price / performance
  • Design
  • Little modification of the manufacturer

  • Camera
  • Autonomy
  • RAM memory

With Wolder Smile 🙂 we find with a range terminal rather interesting low-medium. Finishes are pretty good, very plastic but who do not try hide. The sensations are good. Something short of RAM but it responds well in a light use.

The biggest advantage of this terminal is its price so attractive. We have a terminal that can convince in this aspect as it is perfect for certain applications. And that comes with a sheath of series always is nice. In short, friendly, value for money.
