Geeksphone, the first Spanish and European company to develop a smartphone with Android operating system after years without releasing a smartphone with Android already is finalizing the launch of Revolution, your next Android’s high range.
Geeksphone One launched in 2010 it was the first Android of the company, then in 2011 launched Geeksphone Zero and there stood the thing in Android. Then they focused on Firefox OS with new devices.
Very few details are known of the Geeksphone Revolution, just that you will have a high-performance processor and may be used with 4.2 Android (Jelly Bean) or with Firefox OS. Geeksphone may not currently use Mozilla brand and they have to call the operating system as Open Web, but is the same, both based in Boot 2 Gecko, with features and marketplace that Firefox OS. Apparently the user can install at any time these operating systems without losing the warranty.
Another fact is that users who reserved months ago Geeksphone Peak + by 180,29 EUR may change your reservation by the Geeksphone Revolution for the same price, so it seems that the new device will be available at a similar price and with equal or superior to the Peak Geeksphone + technical specifications.
Geeksphone Peak + with OpenWeb had an IPS screen 4.3 inch with a resolution of 960 × 540 pixels, dual core processor Snapdragon S4 to 1. 2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD, 8 Mpixel camera cards and 2 Mpixel, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, Wi-Fi N and GPS connectivity, and a 1800 mAh battery. This device with OpenWeb is no longer for sale.
