ROM’s Ice Cream Sandwich Available for The Nexus S

We know that the Nexus S is the first mobile to update to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) a few weeks since his successor, the Galaxy Nexus, is released but it seems that there are people who don’t want to wait any longer to have the new version.

As I used a few days ago, they are developing ROMs to bring Ice Cream Sandwich to the Nexus S thanks to the SDK. As well, thanks to a user of XDA-Developers forums already available the first ROM for the Nexus S with the new version of Android.

This ROM has been developed for GT-i9020 and GT-i9023 models and is not yet fully functional. In the latest released version found faults in the 3G reception, in the data, chip NFC connectivity, mode Panorama to make pictures and the camera presents a forced closure the first time running.

If you like tinkering with ROMs and you do not fear to try this just you have to enter in your thread on XDA-Developers to learn about the latest news and the steps to test this ROM with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
