“Latex” Homemade

These days I have received some emails where I ask if I can give any suggestions or some homemade trick to make your halloween makeup affordable to the Pocket.

Never had I raised do this kind of products at home, but view your curiosity, mine has woken up and I investigated a little bit by the network.

Also it is true that not everyone has the opportunity to purchase certain materials and which tend to be quite expensive.

Well, I bring you a few options that I found and I have tested these days, I hope you will be useful. Personally I prefer the latex that is marketed (except that it smells like rays!!), but as an alternative, both proposals give the pego.

“Latex” Home

We will need:

-Liquid white glue suitable for children (so we make sure that it does not carry any toxic ingredients,)

-A splash of water to slightly dilute the tail

-Corn starch

-Base (optional) fluid makeup

-A glass tumbler

-Milk wire whisk

Elaboration:

In a glass container, we put the amount of glue we deem timely the prosthetic that we are going to make.

Add the splash of water and using a whisk milk (ikea is super cheap and goes well) mix the glue with water to fully integrate them very well.

We will add to this mix a teaspoon of cornstarch and proceed to beat again so that the flour is incorporated completely and there are no grumitos.

If we decide to dye the mixture, it is now time to add a few drops of fluid makeup and again mix well.

We can make it more liquid (add water) or give him a more dense texture (by adding cornstarch) depending how need it for our work.

Another Home “Latex”

We will need:

-Neutral gelatin powder
-Pure Glycerin
-Water
-Base (optional) fluid makeup
-A glass tumbler
-Milk wire whisk

Elaboration:
In a glass container you will find equal parts gelatin powder and Glycerin and add two parts water for every part of gelatin, so to get the amount that we consider to be timely for the prosthesis that we are going to make.
Proceed to beat so that the ingredients are integrated fully and are not grumitos.
We will take our mix to the microwave for 10 seconds (depending on the power of the microwave and the amount of preparation, of course).
Once left the microwave, we will proceed to add a few drops of fluid makeup to give the mixture color (optional) skin.
Let warm so that it thickens and ready to use.
