The taiwanese Acer will attend CES 2016 held in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9 with a new low-mid end tablets that will replace the current model Iconia One 8 B1-820.
According to reports from the German site Winfuture, the new Iconia One 8 B1-850 should not be too different aesthetically than its predecessor, offering a rear shroud cross weave,9.05 mm thick and weighs 340 grams.
Also from the hardware it should be a update not particularly significant: the tablet will be equipped with an 8-inch IPS display with 1280 × 800 definition, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD. The processor 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT8163 from 1.3 GHz replaces the quad-core Intel Atom 1.33 GHz on One Z3735G from 8 B1-820 Iconia.
As for the photographic sector, the new tablet should be equipped with a 2 megapixel sensor front and rear 5 megapixel sensor with AF (without flash). Don’t miss the OS Android Lollipop 5.1 customised by Acer with aninterface that gives a nod to younger users, WiFi connectivity 802.11 n, Bluetooth 4.0, a single speaker and a battery from 4600mAh.
Acer Iconia One 8 B1-850 can also count on the presence of some exclusive features offered by Iconia Suite, as EZ Gadgets, EZ Tasking, EZ WakeUP and EZ Notes.
There are no known details about the price and the official release on the market.
